Interests

Throughout my life I have been very involved in athletics. In High School I lettered in football, baseball, wrestling, and have been involved competitively in track and soccer. The principles necessary to be successful in athletics can also help you be successful in life. Work ethic, dedication, being a team player, listening to and trusting your coach, believing in a cause, sacrifice, courage, etc., are all principles that apply to both sports and life.

I also enjoy outdoor recreation, hiking, going to the lake, running etc.  My favorite past time of all is spending time with my beautiful wife and my two children. They are my greatest blessings. I am so thankful for the support my wife gives me and for the energy that my children bring into our home.

The approach Diamond Ranch takes is very positive and applicable to real life.  Because of what I have learned at DRA, working with youth has become one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. When a parent sees their youth succeed, when the light goes on in a student’s mind, or when a child finally receives the reward that they have worked so hard for, these experiences are priceless. DRA has changed my life. Seeing the strength of some of the students that have come through here and the obstacles overcome is inspiring and has made me a better husband and father.
