Interests
I grew up in rural Idaho. Because of this, I have developed a love of the outdoors. I love to fish, hunt, camp and hike. I have learned to love mountains. I had six brothers and sisters and worked on my grandfather’s farm for most of my childhood. I have developed a love of working with my hands and a desire to help others. I have been married for 10 years and I currently have three children, with one on the way. They have become my love and my interest, who could have time for anything else. I also have a strong passion for teaching. I have spent the last nine years teaching high school and college and truly love to find new ways help students learn.
Comments on DRA
I have worked and been to many programs over the past few years. I truly appreciate the comprehensive approach that DRA takes with its program. Each student gets the chance to deal with their life from a educational, therapeutic and structural aspect, learning to find balance. It is a good feeling to know that each student is cared for, protected, and pushed for success. Not only does it try to address every aspect of the student’s life, but it is set in one of the most beautiful environments, mountains.
