Health, Safety  & Nutrition

We house a full medical department which enables us to provide around the clock medical care to students.  Our Physician’s Assistant conducts clinic visits with the students and oversees their general medical care while at the ranch.

Registered nurses with expertise in adolescent treatment handle the day-to-day medical needs of the students, including the overseeing of medication management.  We work closely with other medical professionals in the community including psychologists and psychiatrists as needed.

First Aid & CPR Training

First Aid & CPR training provides every staff member on the Diamond Ranch Academy team with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses.

Culinary Water Purification SystemTeens drink purified water from a fountain on the campus at diamondr ranch academy

Diamond Ranch Academy utilizes one of the most advanced water treatment systems available to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.

All culinary water is treated with a large Reverse Osmosis system - similar to what many people have in their homes, but one of only a few of its size and capacity in the western United States.

As with city and county public water systems, Diamond Ranch employs a full-time Certified Water Operator.   Our water operator is certified in the State of Utah at Level 2 in Water Distribution, and Level 2 in Water Treatment.Reverse osmosis water treatment center at diamond ranch

Sampling and reports for water quality are taken on a daily and yearly basis.  All records are available on-ranch, or through the State of Utah.  State of Utah Public Water System #27088.

DRA exceeds all state requirements for water quality, and maintains a zero point record of any violations.  In fact, our water is of better quality than most public water systems - and even the water found in most households.

Fruit Orchards, Trees & Garden Irrigation

Diamond ranch irrigates all of the fields, lawns, fruit orchards, gardens, trees, and flowers using water that flows from a natural spring that flows on the ranch.  The water is captured and pressurized into the irrigation systems.  Unused spring water also feeds our large fishing ponds stocked with Bass and Trout.

Fire Suppression

At Diamond Ranch Academy, our student's safety is our number one priority.  All dorm rooms, class rooms, and buildings are equipped with fire alarm systems , fire extinguishers, and fire suppression sprinklers.  Fire drills are also held at regular intervals so our students will feel comfortable knowing what to do in case of an emergency.

"Thank you for all you do to help young people. As we read the daily reports of what Bryan is doing, we continue to be impressed with your program. Thank you again."
